Hey there! I am Emma, the person behind LeafyHome.
A few years ago, I bought my first houseplant — a sad little pothos from a grocery store clearance rack. Spoiler: it did not survive. But that failure sent me down a rabbit hole of learning everything I could about indoor plant care.
Fast forward to today, and my apartment is home to over 40 houseplants. From finicky calatheas to bulletproof snake plants, I have kept them all alive (well, most of them).
Why LeafyHome Exists
When I was a beginner, I found most plant care advice either too technical or too vague. I created LeafyHome to be the resource I wished I had — practical, friendly, and written in plain English.
